The National Chengchi University (NCCU) invites applications and nominations for the Dean of the College of Communication position.
The NCCU College of Communication comprises four undergraduate departments/programs—Department of Journalism, Department of Advertising, Department of Radio and Television, and Undeclared Major in College of Communication; five graduate programs—Master's Program in Communication Studies, Master's Program in Digital Content, EMA Program in Communication, International Master's Program in International Communication Studies, and International Master Program in Inter-Asia Cultural Studies; as well as one doctoral program—Ph.D. Program in Communication.
The NCCU College of Communication is the longest-standing communications school in Taiwan and leads the nation in communication research and education. With many
Outstanding Research Award recipients, the college constantly pushes communication research boundaries. For the past few decades, it has cultivated leaders and professionals in various communication industries, both in Taiwan and greater Asia. As a highly integrated institute, the college reviews and modifies its curriculum and educational policies regularly, which enables it to adjust to the ever-changing communication environment effectively.

Candidates for the position of Dean should be a full-professor with excellent capability in academic leadership, high integrity, demonstrated administrative experience, and a strong commitment to faculty development and research excellence to ensure the College's continued success.
Terms of Service
Appointment to the position of Dean shall be for three years, starting from August 1, 2022, subject to a second-term reappointment.

• Nominations by the Dean Search and Selection Committee of the College of Communication (with over 1/3 approval of the committee members)
Becoming a Dean
The final candidate, to be determined by the President, needs to be a full professor of NCCU or, if not, needs to be recruited as a full professor or research fellow by NCCU before his/her inauguration as the Dean.
