The College's PhD program is Taiwan's first in the field of communications. Its objective is to prepare students to be outstanding teachers of communications. The program extends the curriculum of the master's program, places equal emphasis on research in each of the subfields of communications and stresses both academic innovation and the development of a broad vision of the field. |

Students are required to choose one special field among “Communication and Culture”, “Journalism and Information Communication”, “Imagination, Narrative and Interaction”, “Telecommunication Policy and Management”, “Integrated Communication”, “Science and Risk Communication”, “China Studies in Communications” as their majors. Or, after consulting with academic advisor and approved by College of Communication, they can organize their own special fields. |
