Dear academic friends, Wish you all have a joyful kick start of this fantastic 2020!

Since being published in 1992, Journal of Radio and Television has been an important venue for rigorous academic papers regarding radio, television, film, communication industry, and new media. In 2019, this long established, reputed journal, ranked third in articles’ citation numbers in the field of humanities, social science and communication, according the National Library’s annual ranking of academic journals in Taiwan.

After Professor Trisha Lin (Director of the Department of Radio & Television, National Chengchi University) took over the editor-in-chief in late 2019, she has expanded the editorial board, repositioned the journal, and revamped its website. The English journal name was changed to Journal of Audio-visual Media and Technologies (JAMT) to emphasize the significance of new media technologies in communication. Several well-known communication scholars in Taiwan and abroad were invited to join JAMT’s editorial team.
