As influencer marketing becomes mainstream, the presentation will discuss the nature of using social media influencers for brand endorsement and the effects of influencer campaigns on consumers’ psychological well-being and branding-related outcomes.
Dr. Lin received her MA from University of Florida and Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin. She was an assistant professor of advertising at the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia. She is currently an associate professor of advertising at National Chengchi University. Her research focuses on advertising effects, digital and social communication strategies, and consumer-brand relationships.
